[The truth is, he can't remember who did it. He blocked it out. But the fact that his mind did that, must have meant the truth was pretty shocking... maybe it was someone he knew. At any rate, he didn't want Mitsuhide taking revenge.]

[ Mitsuhide reads over those words and frowns. His eyes close as he lightly shakes his head. No, he doesn't think that any of that is right, but to discuss that bit -- he will have to have that conversation face-to-face.

His smile soft. It is kindness to allow a monster like him out of the cage set up. It is good to buy a house so that they have somewhere to live. It is softness to believe a monster would always be willing to answer all questions. Shootie does have all the pieces, but he does not see them in himself. Unfortunate.

It makes him want to look after him more.

It isn't lies or being lied to -- why is it that those that he wants to watch over have been watched over with clumsy hands and clumsy intentions? Why is it that a person like him is able to see these things? Humans are interesting, he thinks to himself. Humans are very interesting and that is why I love them. ]
